See you soon! :)

On Monday of Week 10, Mrs. Shepherdson’s class, Mr Smith’s class and Pam / Miss McDonald’s class took part in some end of term sushi making. Well Done everybody for no sliced fingers!! Silly Sensei for slicing her own finger (ouch!) The sushi was delicious and everyone had a lot of fun :) Next term, my other 3 classes will get their turn! Enjoy the pictures :)

End of Term, Popsticks and Sushi!!

March29

Well it’s the end of the term, and what a busy term it’s been! All my classes have settled in beautifully into Japanese and have learned a lot of new things, don’t forget everything over your 2 week break period! The popstick competition has finished, though I haven’t counted who the winner is yet – it will be announced next week, keep reading the blog to find out!

Don’t forget, next Monday I’m making sushi with Room 9, Room 8 and Room 13. If you haven’t given me $1 for ingredients yet, you can bring me the dollar next Monday. BUT if you don’t bring me a dollar by the time we make sushi, you don’t get to eat it! BRING $1!!
Thankyou everybody!

Year 6/7 posters

March29

Thanks to all my year 6/7s and Mr. Berry’s 5s who completed and handed in their WANTED posters! I had alot of fun reading them, they are very clever! The standard of work was really high and I was very impressed and pleased when marking them. So thankyou everybody!
I shall take some pictures and upload them onto the blog soon.

Year 3/4/5 posters

March23

Well Done to all my year 3/4/5s on your fantastic posters! They were of a very high standard and I am really impressed with how much knowledge you have picked up on Japan already!
They are now hanging beautifully in the Japanese room, and can I say how very impressed I am, that every student handed them up on time! There was no one I had to chase down and nag for it! That shows excellent organisation everybody, great work! :)

Well it’s halfway through the term now, and all my new Japanese students have settled in beautifully! Year 3/4/5 have finished a project this week all about Japan, and my year 6/7s are having fun creating their WANTED posters using the new adjectives we’ve been learning!

We’ve earned so many popsticks I’ve had to buy more from the shops TWICE!! So Well Done everyone, I really don’t know which class is in the lead at the moment, it could be very close!! I wonder which class shall be victorious!!??

Thanks for visiting everyone!!
